Dare to Believe God, Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse Urges Believers Worldwide
Global News Reports That Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse, the shepherd in charge of Freedom For All Nations Outreach, has issued a powerful charge to believers globally, urging them to remain steadfast in God’s promises, despite overwhelming circumstances.
Speaking at the headquarters of his ministry in South Africa today, during a sermon themed “Removing the Stones,” Prophet Akinbodunse drew inspiration from John 11:35, using the story of Lazarus to illustrate his message. He recounted how, when Lazarus fell ill, his family sent for Jesus, who assured them that the sickness would not lead to death. Despite this promise, Lazarus passed away, a situation reflective of many believers today who abandon their faith when their circumstances seem to contradict God’s promises.
The Prophet shared that God sent him with a special message to remind believers not to dwell on their problems but to focus on the ultimate problem solver—God. He emphasized that, just as Lazarus was raised from the dead, God remains in the business of turning impossible situations around.
However, Akinbodunse also charged believers to actively remove any stumbling blocks hindering God’s intervention in their lives. He explained that the stone placed over Lazarus’ tomb symbolized doubt and finality, representing the lack of faith in God’s ability to fulfill His promises.
“For God to intervene and perform His promises, roll away the stones you’ve placed on the altar of your manifestations. These stones include sin, doubt, unbelief, and selfishness,” he said.
Prophet Akinbodunse concluded by encouraging believers to take risks in their faith, but to do so with God at the center, reminding them that God is still faithful to fulfill what He has promised.
