Global News Reports That The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has given the reason why he attended the grand opening and dedication of Love of Christ Generation Church C&S Cathedral, Victoria Island, Lagos.

 

 

 

 

 

Pastor Adeboye who attended the dedication service with his wife, Folu Adeboye, disclosed the reason while preaching in the church on Sunday 5th of September 2021, during the ceremony. He said someone who saw his name on the invitation advert to the service in the media, asked him whether he would go to such a place. He explained that, to the surprise of the person, he said he would be there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pastor Adeboye further stated that when the person wanted to know why he would go to such a place C&S Church, he told him that God asked him to there. The cleric revealed that God didn’t ask him to go there for nothing. He said that whenever God asked him to go anywhere like that, it was for a purpose and that the purpose could be because God wants to save one person.

 

 

 

 

 

“You are here today Beloveth, somebody asked me yesterday, we found out in the media that you are going to preach in such a place, I said yes, he said we didn’t believe I said you better believe, he said why?

 

 

 

 

 

” I said God asked me to go and when God asks me to go like that it could be because there is just one fellow who is been given a last chance, you might be the one…” Adeboye said.

 

 

 

 

 

The RCCG Public Relations which shared the pictures on their Facebook page described the occasion as a great time of thanksgiving, praise and worship to the Most High God.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other dignitaries who attended the occasion included the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye, former president Olusegun Obasanjo, Former Head of state, General Yakubu Gowon, Former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel, among others.
