UNIPGC Canada 2024 Nominates Femi Oyewale for Peace Leadership Award in Excellence in Journalism
Femi Oyewale, the publisher of Sahara Weekly magazine and Sahara Online, has received a nomination for the prestigious UNIPGC Global Peace Leadership Summit and Awards 2024. This event will occur on Friday, October 25th, 2024, at the Conservatory Hall in the City of Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

UNIPGC Global President and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Jonathan Ojadah, announced the nomination yesterday. He praised Oyewale for promoting peace on a global scale through his media platforms. This impact informed their decision to nominate him in this category for the 2nd edition of the Global Peace Leadership Summit and Awards (Canada 2024). The summit collaborates with the Chartered Institute of Peace & Governance (CIPG), USA, and the American University of Peace and Governance (AUPG), USA.
Ambassador Ojadah stated, “The award celebrates outstanding achievements across various sectors and is bestowed upon individuals and organizations committed to nation-building, governance, community development, and sustainable peace-building.”

The summit is scheduled for October 25th, 2024, following a two-day Executive Masterclass organized by Lifesquare Leadership Initiative in collaboration with AUPG on October 23rd and 24th, 2024.
