Global News Reports That Social media influencer Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, recently met with Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, following the controversy involving Bobrisky. The meeting took place after VeryDarkMan shared an audio recording, which drew attention to new bribery accusations.

 

 

In the recording, Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, claimed to have paid ₦15 million to members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This payment, according to him, was to have money laundering charges against him dropped. Bobrisky also said he bribed Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) officers to avoid going to prison.

 

 

The Nigerian government responded by suspending two NCoS officers. This action was praised as a necessary step in addressing corruption within the correctional system.

 

 

 

VeryDarkMan, pleased with the decision, shared a video of his conversation with the Minister on Facebook.  He expressed his satisfaction with the suspension of the officers and his hopes for a better Nigeria. In his words:
