On October 1, 2024, Wizkid posted a cryptic message on X (formerly Twitter) that set social media ablaze. His tweet read, “Beg me! Just like…,” which many quickly linked to a viral video involving Davido. The post immediately stirred up reactions, with both artists’ fans clashing in heated debates online.

 

 

Wizkid didn’t stop there. When a fan tweeted, “Wiz, drop the album whenever you want. They need us more than we need them!” Wizkid confidently replied, “Bingos got nothing on Starboy General!! Till infinity.”

 

 

 

He further escalated the situation by tweeting “Frogido!,” a derogatory nickname directed at Davido, highlighting the deep-rooted tension between the two stars.
